The team supports multiple advisor-facing trading applications that enable financial advisors to execute and manage investment transactions for their clients. These applications handle functionality such as: Equity order placementMutual fund tradingETF tradingOptions tradingSecurities tradingOther investment and trading-related transactionsThink of the experience similarly to a retail trading platform, where a user can place trades across various investment products. In this case, the end users are financial advisors utilizing trading tools on behalf of their clients.The environment is high-impact and business-critical, with little room for error due to the severity and visibility of the applications.This position is W-2 only. We do not work with third-party firms or C2C arrangements for this role.Core Responsibilities Own and support several trading applicationsProduction support, troubleshooting, and issue resolutionApplication enhancements and maintenanceFull-stack development across backend and frontend technologiesWork closely with team members for knowledge transfer and collaborationRequired Skills/Experience (Must-Haves) 10+ years of software development experienceStrong hands-on Full Stack Development background (60% Coding 40% Troubleshooting, Support, and Analysis .NET / C#AngularSQLAWSMicroservices architectureKafkaProduction support experience 80% Production Support / Enhancements20% New DevelopmentTrading and/or Investment Management domain experience Candidates who have supported or built trading platforms, brokerage applications, wealth management systems, or advisor-facing investment tools will be strongly prioritized EquitiesMutual FundsETFsOptionsSecurities TradingKey Competencies & Behaviors Ownership and AccountabilityCalm, Analytical Problem-SolvingCollaboration and Knowledge SharingWork Environment Location: Austin, TX; Fort Mill, SC; or San Diego, CAHybridCompensation & Benefits Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $70.00 and $85.00.
