The ideal candidate will have a strong background in implementing cloud-based solutions on the Azure platform using .NET technologies like Blazor and the Angular framework, creating Azure resources, and building pipelines.\nPrincipal Accountabilities\nDeveloping and implementing cloud solutions on the Azure platform.\nCollaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.\nImplementing DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous deployment, and automated testing.\nDeveloping and maintaining .NET applications, utilizing C# programming language.\nDesigning and developing front-end applications using the Angular framework and Blazor.\nParticipating in code reviews, troubleshooting, and debugging activities.\nStaying updated with the latest Azure services, DevOps practices, and .NET technologies.\n\nKey Performance Indicators (KPI's)\nSuccessful development and implementation of cloud solutions on the Azure platform.\nHigh uptime and reliability of Azure infrastructure, as well as successful scalability and security improvements.\nSuccessful collaborations with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.\nSuccessful implementation of DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous deployment, and automated testing.\nSuccessful development and maintenance of .NET, Blazor, and Angular applications.\n\nKey Relationships\nInternal – commercial, service delivery, operations, and technology teams\nExternal – external technology vendors, application software providers, and project consultants\n\nExperience & Qualification Required\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.\nExperience with Azure services and solutions.\nProficiency in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated testing.\nSolid understanding of .NET framework and C# programming language.\nHands-on experience in developing front-end applications using the Angular or Blazor frameworks.\nFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle.\nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\nExcellent communication and collaboration abilities.\nSkills and Competencies\nAbility to effectively present information to employees, management teams, customers, and stakeholders.\nAbility to communicate project status, including blockers, work in progress, and work remaining.\nDemonstrated ability to develop and execute a plan to completion by involving the right people and roles at the appropriate time.\nAbility to prioritize product backlog and work both independently and as part of a team.\n\nA career with Sims provides you with the opportunity to work with an organization whose goal is to be the world’s safest and most responsible recycling company.
