Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Rehab / Long-Term Care (Travel)Location: Rochester, NY 14513Employment Type: Travel Contract (13 Weeks)Compensation: Travel pay package available (based on experience and qualifications)Schedule:Shift: Day ShiftHours: 40 hours/weekTiming: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)Weekend Requirement: Every other weekendImportant Requirement: Must reside 75+ miles from the facility (travel candidates only)Job Overview:We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a travel assignment in a Rehabilitation / Long-Term Care (LTC) setting. The CNA will provide direct patient care, assist with daily living activities, and support the clinical team in delivering safe and high-quality care.Key Responsibilities:Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, feeding, grooming, and dressingSupport patient mobility, transfers, and ambulation (including use of Hoyer lifts and transfer devices)Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respirations, oxygen saturation)Provide incontinence care and assist with catheter careTurn and reposition patients to prevent pressure injuriesEnsure patient comfort, dignity, and safety at all timesDocument intake/output, weights, and report any changes in patient conditionFollow infection control protocols and proper use of PPEAssist with specimen collection and routine patient care tasksCollaborate with nursing staff and healthcare team membersRequired Qualifications:Minimum 1 year of CNA experienceExperience in Rehabilitation or Long-Term Care (LTC) preferredStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced clinical environmentMust meet travel eligibility criteria (75+ miles from facility)Work Environment:Rehab and Long-Term Care settingTeam-oriented and patient-focused environmentRequires physical stamina and attention to detailFor more details reach atvgill@navitassols.comor Call / Text at 516-862-1203About Navitas Healthcare, LLC: It is a certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical, Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
