Project Manager / Supervisor HVAC & Plumbing

General Job Description: IES Residential's Huntsville, Alabama division is looking for an experienced Project Manager/Supervisor to oversee HVAC and Plumbing projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both HVAC systems and plumbing installations, with proven leadership skills to effectively manage project teams and ensure successful project delivery. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management proficiency, and client relationship management. Min: USD $23.00/Hr. Max: USD $33.00/Hr. Minimum Education: None Minimum Years of Experience: 0-2 Specific Qualifications: Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of residential plumbing and HVAC technicians, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure high performance and productivity. Project Management: Plan, organize, and oversee plumbing and HVAC projects from start to finish, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all plumbing and HVAC work meets quality standards, codes, and regulations, conducting inspections and providing feedback to team members as needed. Customer Service: Interact with residential clients in a professional and courteous manner, addressing their concerns, answering questions, and providing expert advice on plumbing and HVAC issues. Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and assistance to technicians, troubleshooting complex problems, and ensuring the proper installation and operation of plumbing and HVAC systems and components. Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment, conducting regular safety meetings, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements. Inventory Management: Manage inventory of materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring adequate supplies are available for projects and maintaining accurate records of usage and expenses. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project documentation, including work orders, invoices, and permits, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Continuing Education: Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices through training and professional development opportunities. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other supervisors, managers, and support staff to ensure efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction.
