Job Description:Permanent Opportunity – Non-Invasive CardiologyLocation: Muskegon and Ludington, MichiganPosition Overview A full-time Non-Invasive Cardiologist (MD/DO) is needed to join a growing cardiovascular team serving communities along the West Michigan lakeshore. The physician will work within a collaborative regional cardiovascular network delivering comprehensive cardiac care across outpatient clinics and hospital settings. Employment Type: Permanent Practice Model: Multidisciplinary cardiovascular team Locums Candidates: Not acceptedSchedule Full-time cardiology schedule Mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient consults Specific hours not listedClinical Responsibilities Provide non-invasive cardiology consultations and evaluations Diagnose and manage: Cardiomyopathy Coronary artery disease (CAD) Arrhythmias Valvular heart disease Congestive heart failure Develop individualized treatment plans Participate in Congestive Heart Failure Clinic Manage patients with lipid disorders and cardiovascular risk factors Perform pre-surgical cardiac evaluations Perform and interpret diagnostic testing including: Echocardiography Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) Provide inpatient cardiology consultations Collaborate with APPs, nurses, and clinical staff Assist with management and remote monitoring of: Pacemakers Implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs)Cardiovascular Network Collaboration The role participates in the Cardiovascular Network of West Michigan, a partnership.The program supports a comprehensive cardiovascular service line including: Interventional cardiology Structural heart procedures (ASD, PFO, TAVR) Electrophysiology Cardiothoracic surgeryProcedures Collaborated With The physician will collaborate with specialists performing: Cardiac catheterization Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) Electrical cardioversion Pacemaker and ICD implantation Structural heart proceduresCredentialing Requirements Board Certification Board Certified in Cardiology or Board Eligible with certification required within 2 years Important Note Candidates with lapsed board certification are not accepted Licensure Ability to obtain or hold an active Michigan medical licenseCandidate Experience Open to new graduates Open to experienced cardiologistsCompensation and BenefitsCompensation Competitive salary based on experience and training Starting bonus Relocation assistanceProfessional Support CME funding Licensure support Malpractice insurance with tail coverageRetirement 403(b) retirement plan with employer contribution and matchingPractice Environment Part of a large multispecialty physician network with over 700 providers Collaborative care model with APPs, RNs, and medical assistants Access to advanced cardiovascular technology and specialty programs Opportunity to work within a growing cardiovascular programRecruitWells Core Values:Open communicationSense of urgencyTeamworkAccountabilityDriven to winHigher consciousness
