You’ll develop enterprise-grade services, integrate complex systems, and work with architects, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and client stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions.What you’ll doDesign, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java 11+ and Spring Boot.Build RESTful APIs and event-driven microservices with secure, documented service contracts.Integrate applications with internal and third-party systems.Develop and optimize data-access layers, supporting performance, data integrity, and transaction consistency.Write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and promote high-quality engineering practices.Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines, Agile delivery, defect resolution, and production releases.Tune application performance and apply secure-coding practices aligned with client requirements.Required SkillsAdvanced Java development experience, including Java 11 or later.Advanced Spring Boot and microservices experience.Experience developing backend applications and RESTful APIs.Strong collaboration and communication skills.Preferred SkillsSwagger/OpenAPI and event-driven architecture.Apache Kafka and Apache Spark.Hibernate/JPA, SQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.JUnit and Mockito.Maven or Gradle, Jenkins, Git, Docker, Jira, and Agile delivery practices.The expected pay range for this contract assignment is $65-$70 per hour.
