{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"cf380a90bc0d99f2ed078e56","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/cf380a90bc0d99f2ed078e56","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/cf380a90bc0d99f2ed078e56","title":"DevSecOps Engineer","description":"Evolver Federal is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to support its Federal client in Springfield, VA in designing, implementing, and maintaining DevSecOps practices across the full SDLC.\nThe successful candidate will have previous experience configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipeline with experience configuring, managing, and optimizing Git repositories, and implementing security controls in a CI/CD to facilitate the promotion of secure solutions.\n\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, implement, and maintain DevSecOps practices across the SDLC.\nDevelop, implement, and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures.\nIntegrate security controls and automated security testing within CI/CD pipelines.\nConfigure, manage, and optimize GitLab CI/CD pipelines.\nImplement automated code quality and security checks in GitLab (SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, secret detection, etc.).\nManage and maintain Git repositories, including branching strategies, access controls, and governance.\nEnsure secure repository management and version control best practices.\nDeploy and manage applications in Microsoft Azure cloud environments.\nImplement cloud security best practices in Azure (IAM, network security, policies, monitoring).\nParticipate in project management activities, including, but not limited to:\nSprint planning and estimation\nRisk identification and mitigation\nTechnical documentation\nCross-team coordination\nProgress reporting\nAbility to work efficiently and effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.\n\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, Or a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree\n5 years of experience in DevSecOps implementation.\n5 years of experience with security policy development and enforcement.\n3 years of experience with CI/CD tools, specifically GitLab CI/CD.\n3 years of experience implementing automated security scanning tools.\n3 years of experience Git repository management and governance.\n3 years of experience working with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure DevOps, AKS, networking, IAM, security controls).\nMust be able to pass agency specific suitability and have an active DoD Secret Clearance\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n3 years of experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) is a plus.\nFamiliarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep) is preferred.\nUnderstanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.\nStrong documentation and communication skills\nAbility to communicate clearly and effectively via written and verbal communication in both formal and informal situations.\nAbility to adapt to frequent changes in priorities, follow project schedules, meet established deadlines, and proactively communicate risks and issues to the Contractor PM and/or Federal Leads.\nPossess good listening skills and the ability to detect explicit and implicit needs and wants of the client.\nDemonstrated ability to exercise good judgment, prioritize multiple tasks, and problem solve under pressure of deadlines and resource constraints\nPossess strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to apply them to the client/ contract workspace.\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.\nStrong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.\nMust have previous client-engagement experience.\nDHS HQ or Component- level experience preferred.\n\nEvolver Federal is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes all job seekers.
