This role ensures that all machined parts meet stringent quality standards and production schedules.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nMachine Setup and Operation:\nRead and interpret Blueprints containing GD&T Code.\nSet up CNC milling machines by installing and aligning fixtures and tooling.\nLoad and unload raw materials and finished parts.\nOperate machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, and cutting.\nMake necessary adjustments to machine settings to ensure accuracy and quality.\nInterpret technical drawings and specification.\nQuality Control:\nConduct in-process inspections and final quality checks on machined parts.\nUse precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.\nIdentify and troubleshoot any issues related to machine performance or product quality.\nMaintenance and Safety:\nPerform daily/weekly/monthly routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.\nMaintain a clean and organized work area.\nAdhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE).\n\nSkills Knowledge and Expertise\n\nEducation:\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\nVocational school training a plus.\nExperience:\nMinimum of 1-3 years of experience in CNC machining, with a focus on milling machines.\nExperience in the aerospace and defense industry is highly desirable.\nSkills:\nProficiency in CNC operation.\nStrong understanding of machining processes, materials, and tooling.\nEffective communication and teamwork abilities.\nAbility to read blueprints containing GD&T Code.\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to lift and move heavy materials.\nComfortable working in a fast-paced, high-precision environment.\n\nBenefits\n\n401(k) with a company match of 100% up to 6% of your check.
