I&A is one of three business units under the International Trade\nAdministration (ITA), with a mission to produce the world’s most in-depth, high-quality\ntrade analysis while creating and implementation innovative trade and investment\nstrategies that unlock global opportunities for U.S. businesses. TCGM is comprised of\nfour industry sector teams: the Office of Textiles and Apparel (OTEXA), the Office of\nConsumer Goods (OCG), the Office of Materials Industries (OMI), and the Office of\nCritical Minerals and Metals (OCMM).\n\nResponsibilities:\nPerforms sensitive and highly visible administrative functions for a single or small group\nof Senior Executive(s).\nOften the first person corresponded with for the Executive.\nMust possess excellent verbal and writing skills.\nPlans and produces executive correspondence, operates general office equipment and is proficient with Office Suite software applications.\nManages schedule and calendars.\nMay perform or have access to activities of a highly confidential nature that may require comprehensive knowledge of organizational policies, practices, and procedures.\nAdministers specialized programs.\nMay act as proxy for the executive.\nQualifications:\nApproximately 6 or more years related experience.\nComprehensive knowledge of organizational policies, practices, and procedures.\nMust possess excellent verbal and writing skills.\nEducation:\n\nBachelor's degree (or equivalent)\n\nLocation and Work Hours:\n\nThis position is 100% on-site and requires daily reporting to the following location:\n\nWork will be performed at:\n\nDepartment of Commerce (DOC) Herbert C. Hoover Building (HCHB)\n\n1401 Constitution Avenue NW\n\nWashington, D.C., Washington, DC 20230\n\nUnited States\n\nRemote or telework arrangements may be granted on a case-by- case basis.\n\nThis position follows a standard 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday. Employees are expected to be available during core business hours with additional working hours scheduled outside of core hours as needed to fulfill the full work schedule.\n\nThe candidate must currently reside within commutable distance to the work location.\n\nCompensation:\n\nThis position is being recruited in support of a competitive federal contracting opportunity, and AES is continuing to develop its staffing, labor category, and compensation strategy. Because this position is expected to support a primarily remote workforce and qualified candidates may reside in different geographic markets throughout the United States, compensation expectations may vary considerably by location.\n\nFinal compensation will consider factors including geographic market, relevant experience, education, specialized records management expertise, applicable labor category requirements, and contractual and business considerations.\n\nAES welcomes open and collaborative compensation discussions with interested candidates as we evaluate the market and develop an accurate and competitive compensation strategy for this opportunity.
