Captivation is looking for software developers who can get stuff done while making a difference in support of the mission to protect our country.\n\nDescription\nCaptivation Software is looking for a mid level software engineer who will design and develop a modernized version of a legacy application performing data translation and forwarding for a key mission capability. The redesigned application will be part of the program's modernized system architecture and be deployed to multiple operational locations. Tier 3 operational support will be required for legacy through transition and new application operations.\n\nRequirements\nSecurity Clearance:\nMust currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen\nMinimum Qualifications:\nFourteen (14) years of experience as a SWE is required.\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university is required\nRequired Skills:\nExperience developing/refactoring applications in C++ and Python\nExperience with socket-based streaming applications and data formats\nExperience containerizing applications with Docker\nExperience with Kubernetes configuration and Helm chart development\nExperience with Linux-based operating systems and command-line interfaces\nGeneral understanding of RF satellite communications and signal processing\n\nThis position is open for direct hires only.
