Service TechnicianPosition ProfileReports To: Service ManagerFLSA Status: Part or Full-Time, Non-ExemptUpdated: April 2025SummaryA Service Technician is responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining bicycles and other products sold at ERIK'S to ensure safe and optimal performance.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsuring all repairs meet safety standards and quality expectationsMaintaining a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of tools and partsStaying current with product knowledge, service procedures, and technical updatesSupporting inventory management by identifying parts needed and restocking supplies as requiredDiagnosing mechanical issues and providing customers with clear explanations and repair recommendationsProviding exceptional customer service by communicating effectively and creating a welcoming experienceAdditional ResponsibilitiesTo successfully host the party, every retail team member must remain flexible to meet both customer and store needs.
