This position is responsible for improving equipment reliability, maintainability, asset performance, and operational effectiveness across manufacturing, packaging, utilities, warehouse, and facility systems.\nThe Reliability Engineer develops and drives the site Asset Care Strategy, leads reliability improvement initiatives, and partners closely with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, Quality, and EHS to reduce equipment failures, improve uptime, optimize maintenance costs, and ensure compliance with cGMP, FDA, safety, and quality requirements.\nThe base salary range for this role is $120,000- $140,000\nScope of the Role\nAsset Reliability & Maintenance Strategy\n\nLead the site Asset Care Strategy and reliability improvement programs, including RCA, FMEA, RCM, equipment criticality assessments, bad actor analysis, and defect elimination.\nIdentify recurring equipment issues, analyze maintenance and performance data, and implement sustainable corrective actions to improve uptime, reliability, maintainability, and asset life.\nOptimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs, including condition monitoring strategies such as vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasound, and oil analysis.\nEstablish, monitor, and improve reliability KPIs, dashboards, spare parts strategies, equipment BOMs, asset hierarchies, and maintenance standards.\nPartner with Maintenance, Planning, Operations, and Engineering to improve maintenance execution, equipment performance, and asset care effectiveness.\n\nSafety, Quality & Compliance\n\nEnsure reliability activities support cGMP, FDA, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.\nSupport equipment-related investigations, deviations, CAPAs, change controls, audit readiness, and inspection preparedness.\nEnsure reliability programs reduce operational risk and support product quality, process capability, and asset integrity.\nLead reliability-focused initiatives that reduce downtime, improve OEE, optimize maintenance costs, and extend asset life.\nDevelop reliability improvement plans and long-term reliability roadmaps aligned with site objectives.\nSupport capital projects through reliability reviews, maintainability assessments, design reviews, installation support, commissioning, startup, and performance verification.\nCollaborate with OEMs, contractors, suppliers, and engineering resources to improve reliability and implement new reliability technologies or digital maintenance tools.\n\nTechnical Leadership & Collaboration\n\nServe as the site technical expert for reliability engineering, predictive maintenance, and asset performance improvement.\nProvide technical coaching to maintenance personnel, planners, supervisors, engineers, and operations teams.\nSupport troubleshooting of complex equipment failures, critical maintenance events, and major operational disruptions.\nPromote a culture of asset ownership, accountability, reliability, and continuous improvement.\n\nExperience Required\nRequired:\n\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Reliability Engineering, or a related technical discipline.\nMinimum 7 years of reliability engineering, maintenance engineering, asset management, or related experience in manufacturing.\nExperience with RCA, FMEA, RCM, criticality assessments, defect elimination, preventive maintenance, and predictive maintenance programs.\nExperience supporting maintenance planning, scheduling, maintenance optimization, asset performance improvement, and reliability KPIs.\nStrong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, data analysis, communication, collaboration, and technical leadership skills.\nWorking knowledge of manufacturing equipment, utilities, HVAC systems, pumps, motors, conveyors, instrumentation, controls, and facility infrastructure.\n\nPreferred:\n\nExperience in FDA-regulated pharmaceutical, consumer healthcare, food, infant formula, or other GMP-regulated manufacturing environments.\nExperience with SAP PM, CMMS, and asset management systems.\nExperience supporting capital projects, commissioning, and startup activities.\nCMRP, RCM Certification, ISO Category I/II Vibration Analyst, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Thermography, Ultrasound, or Oil Analysis certifications.\n\nBenefits\nWe believe our people are our greatest asset.
