If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Amazon.We're seeking an experienced Programming Manager to join the US Prime Video Programming team for a 5-month engagement. This contractor will contribute to US PV Content assessments across Originals, Licensed Content, Sports, and Live Events, supporting our team in combining data-driven decision-making with creative insight to shape Prime Video's content slate.Ideal role for a strategic thinker who can balance data-driven insights with creative judgment and a passion for entertainment. You have a deep understanding of audience behavior and content performance metrics. You're comfortable navigating ambiguity and contributing to high-impact decisions that affect both short and long-term business success.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience• Proven track record of data-driven decision making in entertainment• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities• Previous contract experience in a similar role preferredPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS• Experience in streaming/OTT platforms• Programming strategy background in television or digital content• Familiarity with Consumer Insights and background in Data Analysis• Strong understanding of audience behavior and content performance metricsRESPONSIBILITIESContent Strategy & Evaluation• Support strategic assessment of Amazon Original Movies, Series, and Live Events• Assist in greenlight evaluations for US Programming• Ensure upcoming content aligns with overall programming strategy for US PV• Navigate complex decision-making combining creative elements with data insightsForecasting & Performance Analysis• Support title-level forecasting at annual planning cycles• Provide forecast adjustment recommendations based on performance signals• Analyze data sources to refine prediction models• Contribute to service-level metric improvementsProject Collaboration• Work with Studios and Prime Video Marketing teams on title intake and prioritization• Earn Trust and maintain effective working relationships across teams (marketing, finance, content)Framework Implementation• Support existing content categorization and tiering frameworks• Contribute to content segmentation strategies• Follow established best practices for resource allocation• Support efficiency improvements across budgets and O&O inventoryTypical day:25% evaluating content; new titles, comparing content, etc.25% working on the schedule when content should be launched25% tracking calendars to make sure timeline is up to date25% communication streamlines between teamsContract Length: 5 MonthsLocation: Culver City CAPay Range: $65 - $73 per hourAGS is an equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer (M/F/Disability/Veterans).
