We have 90+ years of experience operating in multi-faceted transportation modes and are a dynamic and growing organization.\n\nHorizon Freight System; TRX, Inc.; and PFQ Companies, three of the most experienced intermodal trucking companies in the United States, have an opportunity for a highly motivated, career-minded individual to join our team as an Operations Analyst.\nThis position is full-time, on-site in our Valley View, Ohio office.\n\nIf you are looking for a challenging, constantly evolving work environment at a company with long-term growth opportunities, this role could be a great fit for you.\n\nWe are committed to setting you up for success in this role and will provide comprehensive training to the right candidate.\nResponsibilities of the Position:\n\nProcess invoices for daily per diem, pool chassis charges, ocean terminal storage, rail storage, and related fees\n\nManipulate and analyze data in Excel using tables, pivot tables, and other advanced features\n\nCollaborate closely with the Accounts Payable Manager to manage vendor invoice aging reports\n\nImport and audit monthly vendor invoices for accuracy, cross-referencing with our dispatch system and scanned documents\n\nCommunicate effectively with internal and external customers regarding billing for pool chassis and storage charges\n\nPerform additional office tasks as assigned to support operational efficiency\n\nQualifications & Interpersonal Skills:\n\nHigh school diploma required; college degree preferred\n\nBasic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel\n\n1-2 years of business experience strongly preferred\n\nStrong ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including the ability to recognize and appropriately respond to tone in phone and email correspondence\n\nProven capability to prioritize tasks and multitask in a fast-paced setting\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\n\nExceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities\n\nTake pride in and ownership of your work; you are willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done and would say you have a strong work ethic\n\nEnjoy learning and/or would describe yourself as a lifelong learner\n\nPositive attitude and friendly demeanor\n\nWork Schedule & Benefits:\n\nMonday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (on-site in Cleveland, OH)\n\nPerformance-based bonus plan\n\nComplete benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurances\n\n401(k) with company match\n\nVacation and holiday pay\n\nPaid parental leave\n\nPhysical Demands of the Position:\nWork is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
