You'll lead system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements, while providing project coordination and collaborating closely with IT management and stakeholders. In this senior-level role, you also serve as a mentor and technical resource to other Application Analysts, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing. With a strong focus on reliability, documentation, and continuous improvement, you ensure application performance aligns with IT standards, departmental objectives, and business needs.Job DescriptionJob DescriptionEssential Functions And ResponsibilitiesSupport responsibility for the assigned company's Front of House based applicationsFor assigned applications, serve as initial point of contact for problems: analyze problems, diagnose and find root cause and either solve the problem or works with vendors and others capable of resolving the issueTake ownership of support calls for assigned applications through to resolutionAssist with upgrades, enhancements and implementation of current and new Front of House applicationsAssist with end-user training on assigned applications, as requestedAcquire thorough understanding of operational purpose and need for assigned systems to assist end users in software best practices and ensure applications are operated as designedEnsure proper preventative maintenance and all necessary monitoring is performed and audited on assigned applicationsCompany point of contact for vendors of assigned applicationsMaintain documentation for assigned applicationsMake recommendations on upgrades and/or hardware replacement for assigned applicationsAssists team on other projects as neededMentors and assists all Applications Analysts as requested serving as an escalation point for Applications AnalystsCoordinates and schedules at training sessions each year to help build team skill setsEnsure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the positionProvide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standardsPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum 4 years experience performing same or similar job duties within the I.T. function working with Front of House applicationsMust have working knowledge of three of the below Front of House applications:Konami Synkros (Slot Gaming)InfoGenesis (Point of Sale)LMS (Hotel)Everi Compliance (Gaming/Title31)Customer Loyalty KiosksIBM TM1/CognosWorkday ERP SolutionStrong support skills utilized to resolve issues including, but are not limited to, computer programming and system administrationAbility to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical usersPrevious experience leading in both small groups and one-on-one situationsPrevious experience managing and prioritizing multiple projectsPrevious experience providing outstanding guest service to both users and co-workersAbility to thrive in a fast paced, rapidly changing environmentReliable transportation requiredMust have reliable communication device (i.e. cell phone, pager) readily available when not at work in case company needs to reach out during non-scheduled work hoursRequirementsAt least 21 years of ageHigh School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology field or equivalent preferredAbility to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbalObtain and maintain all work cards as required by the companyVerify right to work in the United StatesWork CardsNevada Gaming RegistrationPhysical RequirementsOccasionally push/pull up to 20lbs.Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 20lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and chest levelsOccasionally Squat, kneel, reach, bend, twistFrequently sit and work at a desk or computerRegularly standing and walkingAbility to communicate using in-person speech, radios, and telephoneAbility to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sound in personAbility to distinguish between shades of colorAbility to tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterityWork Environment Potential ConditionsIndoorSmokyNoisyDisclaimerThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
