This opportunity will be hybrid in San Francisco.\nWhat You'll Do:\nLead and Strategize: Manage and mentor a team of electrical engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and innovation.\nDefine Electrical Architecture and System Design: Architect and oversee the development of the electrical systems for wearable devices, including power management, sensor integration, communication interfaces, and signal processing.\nDrive Technical Excellence: Ensure the electrical designs meet performance targets, reliability standards, and regulatory requirements.\nPower Management Optimization: Oversee the design and optimization of power systems to maximize battery life and efficiency.\nCross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Design, Firmware, Software, Product Management, and Operations teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems within the overall product.\nTesting & Validation: Define and oversee electrical testing and validation plans to ensure robust product performance and reliability.\nRisk Assessment & Mitigation: Identify and proactively address potential electrical design risks.\nVendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers for electrical components and services.\nRequirements:\nWe would love to have you on the team if you have:\n8+ years of experience in managing electrical engineering teams, with a significant focus on embedded systems and low-power design, preferably within very high volume consumer electronics or wearable devices.\nDeep expertise in analog and digital circuit design, power management, and sensor integration.\nDepth in both testing and validation methodologies for electrical systems.\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.\nSignificant experience working with overseas manufacturing partners.\nStrong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.\nA strategic mindset with a passion for creating innovative and high-quality products.\nBenefits\nAt Oura, we care about you and your well-being.
