Job DetailsDescriptionESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Set up ProtoTrak SMX mill operator/programmer machines by installing and adjusting fixtures, attachments, and tooling according to job requirementsReads and interpret blue prints, drawings and engineering specifications to determine machining operations and requirementsAdjusts machine and selects appropriate cuttings tools, speeds and feeds for each operationLoad raw materials into machine and position them correctly for machiningOperate machine to performing milling, drilling, boring and other machining operationsMonitor machine operation, making necessary adjustments to ensure the production of high-quality partsInspect finish product to ensure compliance with specificationTroubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during machine operationsPerformance routine maintenance on machine to ensure optimal performanceMaintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety guidelines and regulationsInterfaces with customers and vendors as necessaryPerforms other duties as assignedSkills & ExperienceProven experience (minimum of 5 years) as a MachinistHaas - ST 30 and lathe experience a plusIn depth knowledge of milling machines and their operationsProficiency in interpreting blueprints, drawings and engineering specificationsStrong understanding of machining principles, cutting tools, speeds and feedsFrequently moves, lifts, transports, positions, and installs equipment and material greater than 20lbsMust own and have experience with using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipersStrong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high quality workAbility to manage time and meet project deadlinesQualifications0" style="display: none;">Skills0">0">0" style="display: none;">Behaviors0">0">:0" style="display: none;">Motivations0">0">:0" style="display: none;">Education0">0">0" style="display: none;">Experience0">0">0" style="display: none;">Licenses & Certifications0">0">Equal Opportunity EmployerThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
