We are dedicated to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for a variety of projects.\n\nEmployee Benefits:\n\n100% paid base coverage (Health, Vision, & Dental insurance).\n401(k)\nPaid Holidays\nPaid Sick\nPaid Vacation\nEAP - Employee Assistance Program\n\nO2EPCM, Inc. https://o2epcm.com/\n\nPosition: Structural Engineer Associate\n\nSalary Range: $139,000 - $146,000\n\nLocation: Onsite (Los Angeles, CA)\n\nType: Full-Time\n\nDuties:\n- Performs moderately complex structural engineering work to include the preparation, analysis\nand review of design plans, specifications, estimates and reports to comply with guidelines\nset by both federal, state and local agencies.\n- Performs contract administration in the review of structural services required of engineering\nconsultants and architects and make appropriate revisions and recommendations.\n- Prepares structural design plans and specifications, quality assurance plans, conceptual and\ndetailed cost estimates and other reports necessary for the construction, maintenance and\noperation of various concrete, structural steel, timber, masonry, metal, timber structures and\nother related materials.\n- Assists in the review of project status, initiates changes and provides advice and assistance\nto structural designers and other engineering and design staff.\n- Assists in the review of structural plans and specifications, design and mathematical\ncalculations in the completion of structural engineering projects and assignments as well as\ncreating cost and expenditure requirements for alternate means of construction.\n- Assists in the review of completed structural work for conformance to recognized standards\nand feasibility of construction as well as completeness and accuracy.\n- Assists in the design and layout of foundation, floor, wall and roof framing plans for major\nbuilding structures.\n- Makes recommendations to contractors, architects, engineers and construction inspectors on\nstructural issues during construction.\n- Analyzes environmental impact reports, negative declarations and soils tests data to make\nappropriate recommendations for foundation design.\n- Prepares feasibility reports and preliminary design for proposed structures and facilities under\nconstruction.\n- Perform site investigations and prepare scoping reports and recommendations.\n- Perform other related duties as assigned.\n\nRequired Experience:\n- Three (3) years full-time paid professional structural engineering experience\n- Emphasis on school building construction is preferred\n\nRequired Education:\n- Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor's degree in structural\nengineering or civil engineering with specialization on structural engineering courses.\nPreferred Licenses and Certificates:\n- Possession of a Certification as a Professional Engineer (PE) recognized by the State of CA\nBoard of Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists is preferred.\n\nPlease note, if you move forward in the submission process, you will be asked to provide the following below.\n\nMost updated resume\nCertifications or Licenses obtained\n3-4 Professional References\nProject List with values, dates, and company of any projects worked\n\nTHIS POSITION IS ONSITE AND YOU MUST PROVIDE PROOF OF RESIDENCY IN SOUNTHERN CALIFORNIA TO BE CONSIDERED\n\nNO PER DIEM.
