You will contribute to study activities from setup through data generation while continuing to build your ability to assess data integrity and troubleshoot with guidance.Our Mass Spec Bioanalysis Development team uses LCMS (Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry) techniques to conduct sophisticated sample preparation to meet bioanalytical needs for drug discovery, preclinical, and clinical studies, including bioanalysis of drugs and metabolites, biomarkers, and active endogenous compounds in biological fluids and tissues.In this role, we will rely on you to:Execute assigned study activities including sample preparation (extractions, enrichments/affinity capture, digestions) and LCMS analysis with moderate supervisionSupport method development and qualification activities and begin contributing to optimization effortsPerform data processing and prepare data summaries for review by senior scientistsTroubleshoot routine technical issues and escalate more complex challenges appropriatelyMaintain accurate documentation in compliance with study protocols, SOPs & regulatory requirementsEnsure proper sample identification, handling, and trackingCommunicate progress and risks to senior staffPerform all aspects of the job in a way that supports company brand and supports company mission, vision, and valuesTo qualify specifically for this role, you will have:Bachelor's or master's in chemistry, Biochemistry or chemical/biochemical engineering, or related field with 1-3 years of experience with LC-MS/MSHands-on experience with bioanalytical sample preparation and quantitative LC-MS/MS techniquesWorking knowledge of chromatographic principles and mass spectrometryExperience with small molecule analysis; exposure to proteins, peptides, or biomarkers is a plusFamiliarity with laboratory documentation and working in a structured or regulated environment preferred(Please note this is a representative summary of responsibilities, not a comprehensive or exclusive list of the duties to be performed in any position.
