Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant with strong phlebotomy and EKG skills to help build the operational foundation of a growing longevity-focused medical practice. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, technically confident professional who values precision and professionalism and wants to be part of building a modern clinical model. Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays Approximately 16 hours per week Opportunity to expand as practice grows Core Responsibilities Clinical Responsibilities Perform in-office venipuncture and specimen handling Prepare, label, and package laboratory specimens Perform 12-lead EKGs accurately and efficiently Ensure proper lead placement and artifact reduction Assist with VO2 testing, metabolic assessments, body composition analysis, and other diagnostics Room setup and turnover Equipment cleaning, calibration, and maintenance Maintain strict infection control protocols Operational Responsibilities Track lab orders and results Maintain supply and inventory systems Support patient onboarding workflow Assist with documentation and data integrity in EHR Help develop and refine clinical SOPs Maintain organized clinical environment Qualifications Required: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent experience Phlebotomy certification (CPT I or II) Experience performing 12-lead EKGs 2+ years clinical experience Excellent venipuncture skills Strong attention to detail Comfortable with technology and diagnostic equipment Preferred: Experience in cardiology, internal medicine, or concierge practice Experience with metabolic or performance testing Interest in prevention, fitness, or longevity medicine What We’re Looking For Calm and professional presence Excellent technical execution Clean documentation habits Independent and reliable Strong organizational skills Comfortable in a low-volume, high-expectation environment Compensation $36–41 per hour depending on experience Part-time with growth potential Why Join LifeLab?
