{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"ceda746ff6fc68a1a4001c2e","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/ceda746ff6fc68a1a4001c2e","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/ceda746ff6fc68a1a4001c2e","title":"Audio Test Engineer","description":"Company Overview\n\nLocated in Redmond, Washington, CAD- Based Solutions was founded in 1997 to provide complete product development and engineering services to a range of clients from small start-ups to Fortune Global 500 companies.\n\nJob Summary\n\nWe are looking for an experienced Audio Test Engineer with strong troubleshooting, problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to navigate new research areas, demonstrate the initiative to dive into new domains, self -learn and exercise great communication and teamwork skills to support a major client on-site in the Redmond, Washington area.\n\nThis role is in-person working on an audio research engineering team with the core responsibility to deliver acoustic measurements and acoustic integration design support for developing novel form factor prototypes.\n\nDay to day responsibilities would involve:\nCharacterization (measurement, selection) of acoustic transducers and their integration into research prototypes\nAcoustic design support including modeling/simulation\nEvaluation of noise and vibration sources\nDeveloping of novel test cases and evaluation criteria, key performance indicators for new research concepts\nTest automations and tools for evaluating new audio user experiences.\n\nAdditional responsibilities may also include:\nPrototyping of audio algorithms/signal processing\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred) or Science/Physics\nExperience running audio or acoustics measurements in a lab\nGreat communication skills, ability to do independent work\nExperience writing analysis and data processing scripts -
