Bring your ambition to the table as we unlock new doors together, taking your career to the next level.\n\nBring your experience and be empowered to innovate.\n\nAs a Director, Data Platform & Analytics on the Data & Strategy Ops team, a typical day for you will include:\n\nOwn the strategy, architecture, development, and optimization of Neighborly’s AWS-based data platform and data lake, ensuring scalable, secure, reliable, and cost-effective data infrastructure aligned with business and technology objectives.\n\nLead the design, development, and operationalization of enterprise data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and integration frameworks, enabling trusted data from internal, external, SaaS, API, database, and third-party sources.\n\nPartner with Marketing, Analytics, Data Science, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions that support customer engagement, segmentation, campaign activation, attribution, enterprise reporting, self-service analytics, and business decision-making.\n\nBuild and enable the data foundations required for AI, Machine Learning, and GenAI initiatives, including data preparation, metadata management, retrieval processes, orchestration, continuous refresh, and secure integration with AI applications, agents, and analytics platforms.\n\nEstablish and enforce data engineering standards, best practices, governance, monitoring, quality, performance, documentation, and operational processes while driving modernization and adoption of AWS-native capabilities.\n\nLead and develop a high-performing Data & Analytics Engineering team, providing technical leadership and cross-functional collaboration to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions while balancing strategic platform evolution with operational excellence.\n\nBring your skills and be inspired to achieve success.\n\nExperience:\n\n5+ years of related experience in data engineering, data platforms, analytics engineering, or a related technical data role, including experience leading data platform development and/or technical teams.\n\nExperience with Marketing Automation and customer engagement platforms such as Braze, Broadly, or similar\n\nExperience building customer data platforms, marketing data ecosystems, and analytics architectures, with expertise in Amazon QuickSight, AI/ML and GenAI solutions, including LLM applications, AI agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI-driven data pipelines.\n\nSkills:\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.\n\nDemonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed business recommendations.\n\nAbility to evaluate technology solutions, vendor proposals, and business requirements using sound judgment.\n\nAbility to manage ambiguity, prioritize competing initiatives, and develop structured solutions to complex business problems\n\nEducation:\n\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Data Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.\n\nSchedule / in-office requirements:\n\nHybrid working model; Monday-Wednesday in office, Thursday/Friday from home.\n\nOur office locations are at:\n\n500 E John Carpenter Fwy, Irving, Tx\n\n1010 N University Parks Drive, Waco, Tx\n\nBring your goals and be enabled to reach them.\n\nCompetitive Pay: Commensurate with experience\n\nSchedule: Full-time M-F – 8 AM to 5 PM\n\nBenefits: Check out our benefits offerings Neighborly | Benefits Guide\n\nFinancial Benefits: Equity and annual bonus opportunities\n\nPerks: Paid time off, Paid holidays, Recess breaks, wellness programs\n\nNeighborly® is fully committed to Equal Employment Opportunity and to attracting, retaining, developing and promoting the most qualified employees without regard to their race, gender, color, religion, sexual orientation, national origin, age, physical or mental disability, citizenship status, veteran status, or any other characteristic prohibited by federal or state law.
