This role develops Machine Control Data (MCD), inspection programs, dimensional analysis reports, and nominal engineering models while supporting production assemblies, tooling, non-conformance investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.\r\nResponsibilities Develop, verify, revise, and maintain Machine Control Data (MCD), scripts, and inspection programs for numerically controlled manufacturing and inspection equipment.\r\nRespond to work authorization requests including NCRs, CARs, IRTIs, RFAs, CMES IPs, Work Orders, QA investigations, and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.\r\nAnalyze part and assembly dimensional tolerances and evaluate manufacturability and producibility requirements.\r\nCreate inspection plans and measurement programs for coordinate measuring machines (CMM), laser trackers, photogrammetry systems, ATOS blue light scanners, surphaser systems, portable scanners, and portable measurement arms.\r\nGenerate 2D Mylar and 3D CAD nominal data using released engineering documentation, loft data, and physical master tool measurements in accordance with established procedures.\r\nDevelop part and assembly indexing strategies for machining and inspection operations.\r\nCreate, update, and maintain Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and related documentation within CMES.\r\nAnalyze nominal versus measured data and prepare reports supporting engineering studies, lean improvement projects, inspection reporting, machine accuracy and stability testing, statistical process control (SPC), reverse engineering efforts, and product conformance verification.\r\nSupport the development, integration, and implementation of new machining techniques, manufacturing methods, software solutions, and inspection technologies.\r\nProvide technical guidance for manufacturing, inspection, tooling, and metrology processes.\r\nQualifications U.S. Citizenship\r\nAssociate degree and typically 3+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Bachelor's degree with 1+ year of related experience, or 5+ years of related experience).\r\nExperience programming and analyzing 3D measurement data for production assemblies, detail parts, tooling, and manufacturing applications.\r\nProficiency with dimensional measurement systems including laser tracker, coordinate measuring machine (CMM), photogrammetry, blue light scanning technologies.\r\nExperience using NRK Spatial Analyzer software for dimensional analysis and measurement data evaluation.\r\nAdvanced 3D solid modeling experience using CATIA V5.\r\nExperience creating nominal engineering data for legacy aerospace or manufacturing programs.\r\nStrong understanding and practical application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).\r\nKnowledge of manufacturing processes, metrology, inspection planning, dimensional control, and quality assurance methodologies.\r\nExperience interpreting engineering drawings, models, specifications, and tolerance requirements.\r\nAbility to develop machine control data, inspection plans, and measurement documentation supporting production and tooling operations.\r\nPreferred Qualifications Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience.\r\nExperience supporting tooling development, assembly verification, and large-scale dimensional inspection activities.\r\nExperience with reverse engineering, machine capability studies, and statistical process control initiatives.\r\nFamiliarity with CMES and non-conformance documentation processes.\r\nExperience supporting Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement projects.\r\nMoseley Technical Services, Inc. is an AA/EEO/Veterans/Disabled Employer.\r\nWhat to Expect Applicants selected for employment will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation, which may include education, criminal, and work history verifications.\r\nAccepted applicants will be eligible for benefits, including medical and supplemental insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
