Software Test Engineer

OverviewWe are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Software Test Engineer to support the delivery of a large-scale, cloud-based software platform for a leading organization. In this role, you will collaborate closely with system testing teams, component teams, DevOps, and architects to ensure high-quality, scalable, and reliable solutions. You will play a key role in driving end-to-end quality across the digital journey for enterprise customers.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and execute automated tests using Python and PytestOwn, maintain, and continuously enhance the test automation frameworkCreate and execute test plans and automated test cases to ensure overall platform qualityPerform full-stack integration testing within CI/CT/CD pipelinesCollaborate with component teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defectsConduct performance, stress, and scalability testing using automation toolsIdentify defects, assess risk, and track issues through resolutionEnsure testing best practices are followed in a fast-paced Agile environmentRequired Qualifications8+ years of experience designing, implementing, and executing test automation for integration, performance, and scalability testingStrong understanding of software quality engineering principles, practices, and patterns6+ years of hands-on experience with Python and PytestExperience with REST API testingExperience working with public cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web ServicesStrong knowledge of Linux and Windows environmentsExperience with CI/CD pipelines and automationExperience working in Agile development teamsExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detailDemonstrated ability to continuously learn and adapt to evolving technologiesBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related fieldPreferred QualificationsExperience using Dynatrace or similar monitoring toolsExperience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub ActionsExperience with Postman for API testingHands-on experience testing stream processing systems (e.g., Kafka producers and consumers)Knowledge of or exposure to AI-driven testing approachesAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender, identity, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.
