Financial statement preparation and accounting research of any emerging issues or transactions.\n\nDuties and Responsibilities:\n\nMaintain accounting systems which comply with generally accepted accounting principles, tax requirements, and management reporting requirements\nEnsures compliance with all FASB and GAAP reporting rules and regulations.\na. Analyze and research new and proposed accounting, reporting and disclosure standards issued by the FASB and their related impact on the Company\n\nManage periodic financial close process, review journal entries, and balance sheet account reconciliations. Adhere to close schedules and deadlines.\nb. Review monthly Accounting close process including analytical review of the monthly operating results to ensure accurate accounting records are maintained\nc. Preparation of work papers supporting the close process and month end balances\nd. Close process will include payroll recording by entity by project ID, fixed asset and depreciation recording, accruals management, prepaid activity, and other balance sheet accounts.\n\nManagement of the annual audit process in a timely and efficient manner.\ne. Coordinate schedule production and facilitate the resolution of issues with the audit team.\nf. Work with management and the external audit firm in the preparation of the financial reporting component of the external audit.\n\nCoordinate the corporate consolidation process with support from the finance organization.\ng. Currency conversion of foreign subsidiary trial balance and loading the corporate consolidation model.\nh. Assist in the preparation, accurate reporting and filing of periodic management reports such as monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements.\ni. Calculate FX conversion entries and responsible for Intercompany Eliminations.\n\nParticipate in the preparation of annual federal/state/local tax return with outside CPA firm\nj. Support for US Tax Returns, Foreign Tax Compliance, sales tax, VAT Tax, Property Tax, GST Tax, and projects as needed.\n\nImplement, document, and maintain adequate and effective processes to improve the close and reporting cycles.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nEducation and Work Experience:\n\nBachelor’s Degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field.\nCertified Public Accountant\nFive or more years of accounting experience or related field.\nProject based accounting and manufacturing accounting experience required\nStrong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting technical skills\nNeed excellent Excel skills and Microsoft Office.\nProject based accounting and manufacturing accounting experience a plus\nWork Authorization/Security Clearance Requirements:\n\nThis position may require a government security clearance.\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nList of needed knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully accomplish the duties and responsibilities of the job.\n\nCan interpret financial data contained in reports and ledgers.\nPerforms day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork.\nWork in a high energy, high volume, rapidly changing environment.\nTakes personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work and achieves results.\nAchieves thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task through concern for all the areas involved.\nClear and effective communication skills in both written and spoken forms.\nKnowledge of computer applications including email, databases, word-processing program and spreadsheets (such as Microsoft Office).\nEnsures that decisions are made based on policies, rules and organizational directives to solve emerging problems.\nMaintains confidentiality while processing and handling confidential information with discretion.\nCan handle frequent interruptions and can multi-task.\nWorks effectively with different levels of management, team members and customers.\nAbility to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.\nWork Conditions:Environment Type:\n\nIndoor.
