They are looking to strengthen their erection-focused estimating capability with someone who understands steel erection from an operations perspective — not just someone producing take offs from a screen. For the Estimating Manager level, the role will also involve leading and developing a small estimating team while helping standardise estimating processes and bid strategy. The Role You would be responsible for: Reviewing structural drawings and erection packages Developing erection plans, sequencing and installation strategies Producing detailed steel erection estimates Planning crane usage, manpower and site logistics Collaborating closely with operations leadership and ownership Supporting bid strategy and project execution planning Performing traditional take offs when required Working with tools such as Bluebeam and Sketch Tech Lift This is a fully office-based role with heavy collaboration between estimating, operations and leadership teams.
