This is a hands‑on role in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, ideal for someone who enjoys engaging guests, working collaboratively, and supporting both front‑of‑house service and kitchen operations.\n\nIf anticipating guest needs before they ask — and delivering an exceptional experience — excites you, this role may be a great fit.\n\nDuties and Responsibilities\nProvide excellent guest service, including greeting guests, taking orders, running food and beverages, opening and closing checks, and clearing tables.\n\nActively participate in food service, including preparing and assembling menu items (including Detroit-style pizza) according to company standards.\n\nAccurately input orders into the POS system and handle payments.\n\nMaintain full knowledge of current beer, food, and non‑alcoholic offerings, including ingredients and allergens.\n\nEducate guests on beer styles, food offerings, and pairings.\n\nFollow all Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) and ABC alcohol service regulations.\n\nAdhere to food safety, sanitation, and health department standards.\n\nComplete daily side work, prep tasks, and cleaning duties.\n\nFollow all checklists and standard operating procedures.\n\nMaintain a professional, positive demeanor with guests, coworkers, and management.\n\nDemonstrate flexibility in scheduling and assist with shift coverage as needed.\n\nAttend required trainings and meetings.\n\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nQualifications\nMust be 21 years of age or older .\n\nMust be legally authorized to work in the United States .\n\nSunday, Monday, and holiday availability required .\n\nPrior experience in a bar, restaurant, brewery, winery, or hospitality environment preferred.\n\nPossession of, or ability to obtain, a California Food Handler Card and RBS certification .\n\nWorking knowledge of craft beer is a plus, but not required.\n\nAbility to lift 25–50 lbs and stand, walk, bend, and reach for up to 8 hours per shift.\n\nComfortable working in busy, confined spaces while maintaining professionalism.\n\nCompensation\nHourly Pay Range: $16.90/hour\n\nTips: Additional tip income earned per shift via tip pool\n\nOvertime, meal periods, and rest breaks provided in accordance with California labor law\n\nEqual Opportunity Employment\nFieldwork Brewing Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer .
