Finance Architect

Baer is looking for Finance Architect for a 4+ month project located in Houston, TX. Title: Finance Architect Location: Hybrid - Houston, TX Duration: 4 months Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed Alignment: C2C Description: Lead the design and implementation of financial processes and systems within SAP, ensuring alignment with the specific requirements of the Oil & Gas industry. Leverage technical knowledge of SAP Classic Ledger and ACDOCA to develop, optimize, and maintain financial architectures. Develop and manage complex validation and substitution rules to ensure accurate financial data processing and reporting. While specialized knowledge in JVA and JIB is not required, an understanding of these areas is beneficial. Collaborate with in-house experts to ensure integration of these processes within the financial architecture. Work closely with a small, specialized SAP team, contributing to a collaborative environment to achieve project goals. Ensure seamless integration of financial modules with other SAP modules, particularly those related to the Oil & Gas industry. Engage with key stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure that the financial architecture meets business needs. Document financial processes and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations. Requirements: 8+ years of experience as a Finance Architect, with significant exposure to the Oil & Gas industry. Strong technical knowledge of SAP Classic Ledger, ACDOCA, and financial modules. Proven experience working in the Oil & Gas sector, with a deep understanding of industry-specific financial processes. Proficiency in developing and managing complex validation and substitution rules within SAP. Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a small team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., SAP Finance) preferred.
