Reporting to the Business Applications Supervisor, this role will be responsible for developing and maintaining Q-Lab’s web, database, and client/server business applications as well as designing and implementing front-end user interfaces using Microsoft Visual Studio technologies, including WinForms, ASP.NET, VB .NET, and C#, among other duties.\nThis position is hybrid/onsite in Westlake, OH.\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop software that directly supports manufacturing, laboratory testing, engineering, accounting, purchasing, sales, and customer service. Your work will be used every day across the organization and will have a visible impact on business operations.\nUse modern AI development tools to accelerate software development, improve code quality, and automate implementation where appropriate.\nDevelop and maintain Q-Lab’s web, database, and client/server business applications.\nDesign and maintain desktop and web applications using C#, .NET, WinForms, ASP.NET, and other Microsoft technologies.\nDesign, optimize, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and business logic.\nCollaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define workflows, and translate operational needs into technical solutions.\nProduce business requirements documents, technical specifications, and software design documentation.\nTroubleshoot, debug, and improve existing software applications and database systems.\nParticipate in software architecture discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nRequired Skills:\n3-5+ years of experience developing software with C# and .NET.\nExperience with Microsoft SQL Server.\nExperience designing and maintaining business applications.\nDesired Skills:\nExperience with WinForms, ASP.NET, or other .NET UI technologies.\nExperience with DevExpress is a plus.\nWho We Are:\nQ-Lab Corporation is a global leader in providing material durability testing products.
