Part-Time Physical Therapy Assistant & Corrective Exercise Specialist (Women 50+) Studio Bloom is a boutique women’s fitness studio in Kirkland, WA dedicated to helping women 50+ transition safely and confidently from rehabilitation to progressive strength training. We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) with strong corrective exercise experience and a passion for guiding women through postrehab movement, resistance loading, and bonehealthfocused training. This is a part-time role which blends corrective exercise, postrehab progression, strength coaching, and smallgroup instruction, including delivery of the internationally recognized Onero™ Bone Density Program. Evening and weekend availability is required, along with the ability to sub for other classes. Responsibilities Deliver individualized personal training sessions for women 50+, emphasizing corrective exercise, postrehab progression, and safe resistance loading. Lead smallgroup strength classes focused on functional movement, stability, and progressive overload. Teach and implement the Onero™ Bone Density Program following evidencebased protocols for osteoporosis prevention and management. Assess movement patterns and provide targeted corrective strategies for common agerelated issues (posture, balance, joint limitations, chronic pain history). Support clients transitioning from physical therapy to independent strength training. Collaborate with the Studio Bloom team to maintain a consistent, supportive, and empowering client experience. Educate clients on safe loading, recovery, and longterm strength development. Qualifications Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) — required. Strong background in corrective exercise, postrehab training, and functional strength development. Experience working with women 50+, especially in rehabtostrength or clinicaltofitness transitions. Certification or advanced training in Corrective Exercise or Strength & Conditioning (NASMCES, CSCS, ACSMCEP, or equivalent). Excellent communication skills and ability to translate clinical concepts into clear, encouraging coaching. Passion for women’s health, aging well, and evidencebased training. Willingness to complete Onero™ certification. Evening and weekend availability, plus willingness to sub classes. Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly rate based on credentials and experience.
