You will be part of a collaborative and cross-functional team of talented engineers, working closely with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to deliver exceptional software solutions.\n_________________________________\nResponsibilities:\nDesign and develop robust, efficient, and scalable Java applications using the Spring framework, adhering to best practices and coding standards.\nCollaborate with product managers, architects, and fellow developers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and implementation plans.\nTake ownership of the entire software development life cycle, from concept and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.\nTroubleshoot and debug complex issues in existing applications, ensuring optimal performance and stability.\nStay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in the Java and Spring ecosystem, and proactively recommend improvements to the development process.\nMentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth within the team.\nParticipate in code reviews, ensuring code quality, security, and maintainability of the applications.\nCollaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications in cloud environments.\nIdentify and implement performance optimizations to enhance application efficiency and response times.\nWork collaboratively with quality assurance teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, bug-free software.\nRequirements:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).\nProven track record of at least 5+ years of professional Java development experience, with a strong focus on Spring framework.\nExtensive knowledge of Java programming language and experience with object-oriented design principles.\nDeep understanding of Spring Core, Spring Boot, Spring Data, and other Spring modules.\nExperience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs using Spring Web MVC or Spring WebFlux.\nProficiency in database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and experience with ORM frameworks (e.g., Hibernate).\nStrong understanding of software development methodologies, Agile practices, and CI/CD pipelines.\nSolid knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.\nFamiliarity with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or Angular) is a plus.\nExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.\nEffective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.\nAbout STG\nOur unique consulting company has been changing lives since 1996, providing full-time employment with benefits and paid time off.
