Chemical Analysis Technician

Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARY:We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Chemical Analysis Technician to join our lab team. The role involves performing chemical analysis using ICP-MS and manual titration techniques in a cleanroom environment. This position may require night shift work and the use of semiconductor cleanroom PPE (e.g., SMOCK, gloves, safety glasses). Candidates with prior lab experience are highly preferred.DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Conduct precise chemical testing using ICP-MS and manual titration methodsFollow laboratory protocols and maintain compliance with quality and safety standardsRecord and report test results with attention to accuracy and traceabilityPerform calibration and routine maintenance of lab equipmentWear cleanroom PPE (SMOCK, gloves, etc.) and comply with semiconductor cleanroom protocolsSupport lab audits and documentation requirementsWork collaboratively with cross-functional teams in quality and process supportREQUIREMENTS:Completion of a college-level program in chemistry, chemical technology, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree not required but preferred)Willingness to work night shifts if neededStrong attention to detail and ability to follow precise proceduresEffective communication and teamwork skillsAbility to wear and work in full cleanroom PPE for extended periodsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:1+ years of hands-on experience in a chemical laboratory, especially in a semiconductor or manufacturing environmentFamiliarity with ICP-MS operation and manual titration techniquesUnderstanding of cleanroom protocols and safety regulationsWORK ENVIRONMENT:Work is performed in a controlled cleanroom environmentMust wear appropriate cleanroom PPE (SMOCK, gloves, goggles, etc.) at all times while on the lab floorCompany DescriptionAbsolics Inc. is located in Covington, GA (HQ) and is a leading company in the semi conductor packing industry specializing in glass substrates that is used in high performance computing.Absolics Inc. is located in Covington, GA (HQ) and is a leading company in the semi conductor packing industry specializing in glass substrates that is used in high performance computing.
