They must be a team oriented leader with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of the organization using excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.\nDuties & Responsibilities\nDesign, run, test and improve engineered fluids systems and processes.\nAnalyze, develop, configure and optimize the engineering fluids production process\nDevelop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output\nProvide process documentation and operating instructions\nPerform risk assessments\nManage cost and time constraints\nPrepare designs, cost estimates, specifications, and equipment ordering on engineering projects\nDevelop and lead engineering projects\nScale up and debottleneck processes\nEnsure that potential EHS issues related to the process operator, the environment, the process and the product are eliminated or reduced to minimum levels.\nAnalytical Ability/Problem Solving/Technical skills\nExcellent technical and leadership skills with a continuous improvement mentality\nHands-on, proactive, leads by example and is self-motivated with a high degree of honesty and integrity\nMust have excellent written, verbal and presentation skills\nPossess superior interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present oneself with tact and diplomacy.\nHighly capable of working with and respecting people at all levels of the organization\nAdaptable and reacts positively to change\nHighly analytical with critical thinking skills\nExcellent organizational skills with a capacity to handle both large and small projects\nStrong self-awareness with an optimistic, high-energy, even-keeled personality\nLevel of Supervision Needed\nAbility to work without supervision.\nAutonomy and Supervisory/Lead Responsibility\nDecisions require complex & analytical judgement to work independently toward general results, devise methods, modify/adapt standard procedures to meet different conditions, make decisions based on precedent & company policies.\nRequirements:\nEducation and/or Experience\nB.S. Chemical engineering is required\nMinimum 3 years’ experience in plant operations/design\nStrong computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office\nExperience with PHA’s is required\nSafety/Essential Functions\nCommitment for a strong safety culture is a requirement.
