This position will be in charge of a 5 to 6-person crew including supervision and will be expected to be able to run all machinery safely and be goal oriented. The candidate will need run their crew in the order of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost. This position reports to the Floor Supervisors\nResponsibilities and Duties:\nTo ensure Safety is the #1 priority at all times.\nEnsures team members are all following all JSP’s and conducting monthly JSP’s reviews\nActively participates and motivates team members to actively participate in continuous improvement activities to promote safety, quality, delivery and cost initiatives\nCoach/develop, and train team members.\nMaintains/monitors production goals and effectively communicates requirements to team members.\nEnsures that department is meeting its production goals. (total pounds, pounds per hour, and recovery)\nRecommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
