Consultant, Data Engineer","description":"Job Description: Utilize consulting and technical skills to be able to work in a client-facing project environment independently\r\nBe responsible for your own execution and sometimes lead individual work streams on client engagements as assigned and under supervision of engagement lead\r\nCollaborate with other team members to successfully deliver on projects\r\nWork effectively and directly communicate with both internal and client and/or partner teams\r\nDevelop full ownership of your execution on client engagements\r\nDesign and implement complex ETL/ELT pipelines with evidence of improved data processing times\r\nSuccessfully lead small data warehousing projects with measurable performance enhancements under management of an engagement lead\r\nContribute to real-time data processing solutions and manage streaming data\r\nImplement security and compliance measures for data pipelines\r\nDesign and implement version control and branching strategies and integrate them into CI/CD for promoting and testing in higher environments\r\nHands-on experience working with SAP data at the table level\r\nStrong understanding of SAP data structures and relationships, beyond ETL tooling\r\nAbility to interpret SAP data in the context of underlying business processes\r\nRequirements: B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent\r\n3-5 years' experience in data engineering and big data\r\nAt least 2 years working directly with clients and external stakeholders\r\nExtensive knowledge of data warehousing concepts and hands-on experience deploying pipelines using Databricks * *A must\r\nData modeling and database design skills and knowledge of version control\r\nSAP S/4HANA or SAP HANA\r\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\r\nIs able to apply technical skills to engagement needs\r\nWorks with engagement leads and directors to gain exposure in the design and architecture of solutions\r\nUnderstands
