VulcanForms Inc. operates in an environmentally controlled, state-of-the-art facility committed to producing quality parts for our clients. We manufacture products for several industries, including aerospace, military and defense, satellite, and medical devices.\n\nThis shift covers Monday through Wednesday and every other Thursday from 6:00am - 6:00pm.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nAbility to operate a CNC lathe (including work holding, kitting of tools, touching off of tools/establishing offsets, reading of manufacturing drawings, and first article inspection) on FANUC, DMG MORI, Okuma, and controls.\nAbility to operate a CNC 3 or 4 Mill (including work holding, kitting of tools, touching off of tools/establishing offsets, reading manufacturing drawings, and first article) on Fanuc, DMG MORI, and Okuma\nExperience with utilizing a pre-setter offline for tool offsets is a plus.\nExperience with quick-change tooling is a plus.\nOperate and set up on the machines within the department.\nIn addition to running machines, the Machinist will periodically inspect parts during production to monitor for consistent dimensional and visual quality.\nResponsible for continuously monitoring equipment and tooling. In the event of a breakdown or other event that would disrupt the process.\nFollow the instructions on the Process sheet, Drawings, and/or Programs.\nSupport training of more junior team members on all aspects of machining.\nHelps others identify issues and troubleshoot their work.\nInterface/communicate with Quality, Engineering, and other team members.\nMaintains the work area and equipment clean and orderly and follows prescribed safety regulations.\n\nQualifications\n\n4+ years of experience with 3 and 4 CNC Milling Centers, 2-axis and multi axis, live tooling lathes, experience with the controls listed in the Key Responsibilities section above.\nAbility to read Blueprints and have a good understanding of GD&T\nAbility to work in a team environment\nAdhere to and enforce the company's health & safety policies and procedures\nAdhere to and enforce the company's quality policies and procedures\nGood hand/eye coordination\n\nPreferred\n\nGraduate of Advanced Machine Technology Course.\nKnowledge of 5S/6S.\n\nVulcanForms offers a competitive salary and equity package. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
