Accountant – Financial ReportingLocation: Radnor, PA (Hybrid Schedule)A stable and highly respected organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its corporate finance team. This position offers exposure to financial reporting, analysis, audit support, and strategic initiatives within a collaborative environment. The role has become available due to internal advancement and provides excellent long-term growth potential.This opportunity is well-suited for a public accounting professional looking to transition into industry or an accounting professional pursuing or recently obtaining their CPA designation.Responsibilities:Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAPSupport external audit activities, including schedules, supporting documentation, and financial statement disclosuresPerform account reconciliations and detailed financial analysisReview balance sheet and income statement activity for accuracy and completenessAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisSupport investment, treasury, and partnership-related reporting functionsPrepare financial reports and presentations for executive leadershipResearch and document accounting policies and emerging accounting standardsParticipate in process improvement initiatives and internal control enhancementsAssist with cash management reporting and related reconciliationsAssist in the preparation of SEC filings, including 10-Q, 10-K, and other regulatory documents under Controller’s supervision.Collaborate with internal auditors and external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual auditsRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related fieldCPA designation or active pursuit of certification3–5 years of accounting experience, with public accounting experience strongly preferredSolid knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principlesAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsExperience working with ERP or general ledger systemsStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departmentsAdditional DetailsComprehensive benefits packageDirect hire opportunityHybrid work environmentStrong culture focused on professional development and career growthThe specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.SolomonEdwardsGroup, LLC is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
