We are looking for a junior full stack developer who can help support our headless frontend for the next few months, then transition into a Shopify Liquid focused role.\nJob Description\nWe are seeking a Junior Full Stack Developer with hands-on experience in Shopify Liquid and modern JavaScript frameworks (Next.js preferred). This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow into a Shopify theme and storefront specialist while working on real performance and conversion focused projects. You will work closely with our internal team to ship frontend improvements, support custom product experiences, and gradually take on more Shopify theme and Liquid responsibilities.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport and maintain our current headless Next.js frontend (bug fixes, UI updates, small feature builds, and performance improvements)\nAssist with Shopify theme and Liquid development as we transition from headless to Shopify native or hybrid architecture\nImplement and update product page UX, including variant selection behavior and dynamic image updates\nHelp maintain and improve product data rendering using Shopify metafields, theme settings, and structured JSON where needed\nCollaborate with design, marketing, and operations teams to launch site updates quickly and accurately\nHelp implement tracking and QA changes for experiments (CRO tests, landing page iterations, merchandising updates)\nIdentify and fix performance issues (page speed, Core Web Vitals, frontend bottlenecks)\nDocument changes and follow basic development workflows (tickets, pull requests, releases)\nRequirements\n1+ years of experience in frontend or full stack web development (internship + project experience is ok)\nWorking experience with Shopify Liquid (themes, sections, templates, snippets)\nExperience with JavaScript and at least one modern framework (Next.js preferred)\nSolid fundamentals in HTML, CSS, and responsive UI implementation\nComfortable working with Git and basic dev workflows (branches, PRs, code reviews)\nStrong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to execute quickly\nAble to work on-site in Fullerton, CA\nNice to Have\nExperience with Shopify Plus, Shopify CLI, theme architecture (Online Store 2.0)\nBasic backend familiarity (Node.js, APIs) and understanding of how headless storefronts connect to Shopify\nFamiliarity with GraphQL (Shopify Storefront API) or working with product feeds/catalogs\nExperience working on high-SKU catalogs or complex variant logic\nInterest in performance optimization, Core Web Vitals, or CRO testing\nExperience\nShopify Liquid: 1 year (Preferred)\nJavaScript/TypeScript: 1 year (Required)\nNext.js (or similar React framework): 1 year (Preferred)\nWork Location\nIn person (Fullerton, CA)\nJob Type: Full-time\nPay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year\nBenefits:\nGreen card sponsorship\nHealth insurance\nPaid sick time\nSnacks provided\nVisa sponsorship\nApplication Question(s):\nDo you have experience working in a headless setup (Next.js or similar) connected to Shopify?
