You’ll play a key role in sourcing materials, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of goods—all while keeping costs in check and quality high. This role requires strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors while optimizing costs and ensuring quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Assist in sourcing suppliers and negotiating pricing, terms, and delivery schedulesCreate and process purchase orders in accordance with company policiesTrack shipments and follow up on deliveries to ensure timely receiptMaintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventoryCollaborate with internal departments to forecast needs and avoid shortagesResolve issues related to invoices, deliveries, or product qualitySupport vendor evaluations and performance reviewsAnalyze market trends to identify potential suppliers and sourcing opportunities.Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor contracts.Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on strategies.Qualifications:1–3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chainExperience with purchasing overseasStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent communication and negotiation abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Translate, Claude, and purchasing softwareAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPost-secondary education in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferredStrong analytical skills with attention to detail in evaluating supplier offerings.We are an equal opportunity employer committed to employment equity utilizing hiring practices on merit and business needs.
