Digital Transformation Principal (Manufacturing/GenAI)

The Transformation Principal (TP) supports the planning and execution of digital transformation initiatives and plays a key role in delivering successful client outcomes. This position works closely with the Digital Transformation Lead (DTL) and senior stakeholders to shape strategy, define roadmaps, and contribute to the execution of large-scale transformation programs.The TP engages directly with clients to help design and implement tailored digital solutions aligned with business objectives. This role requires a balance of business and technical acumen, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams. The TP is actively involved in both strategy development and delivery execution, contributing to measurable outcomes while continuing to build expertise in digital transformation.RESPONSIBILITIES Support Digital Strategy DevelopmentAssist in developing and implementing digital transformation strategies aligned to client goalsContribute to solution design under guidance of senior leadershipAlign digital initiatives with business objectives such as growth, efficiency, and customer experienceIdentify customer pain points and translate them into digital solutionsDefine business cases and key performance indicators (KPIs)Articulate long-term digital strategy and technology adoption goalsSupport Delivery of Transformation ProgramsParticipate in managing digital transformation programs across timelines and budgetsTrack project progress, milestones, and KPIs, and report to stakeholdersSupport risk identification and mitigation planningManage projects with minimal oversight in certain scenariosEngage with StakeholdersServe as a key point of contact for client stakeholdersProvide updates on project status, risks, and opportunitiesCollaborate with internal and client teams to drive alignment and successLeadership and Team CoordinationSupport and guide junior team membersCoordinate across teams to ensure alignment and efficient resource utilizationContinuous Learning and DevelopmentStay current on emerging technologies and transformation methodologiesParticipate in internal training and development programsBuild capabilities toward progression into the DTL roleQUALIFICATIONS Required Experience and Skills6+ years of experience in consulting (digital transformation, IT, or management)Experience delivering large-scale digital transformation programs in complex enterprise environmentsMinimum 2 years in a client-facing role engaging mid to senior stakeholdersProven ability to contribute to shaping and selling transformation initiativesExperience leading cross-functional projects from design through implementationTechnical and Professional SkillsFamiliarity with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, or similarStrong communication and interpersonal skillsSolid project management experience and familiarity with methodologies and toolsAbility to work in fast-paced, collaborative environmentsEducationBachelor’s degree in a relevant field requiredAdvanced degree preferredCertifications (Preferred)Design Thinking, Service Design, CDTPPMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, ITILTOGAF, CCMP, CISA, CISSPAWS, Microsoft, or GCP cloud certificationsAgile, DevOps, CBAP, Six Sigma, PROSCI, MSPABOUT USSoftServe is a global IT consulting and digital services company where technology expertise grows alongside people. The range provided reflects the base salary only. Final compensation within this range will be determined based on some factors, including, but not limited to: geographic location, relevant experience, education, certifications, skills, budget, and market conditions.The anticipated salary range for this role is $150,000 – $185,000 annually, in line with our internal compensation framework and budget allocation for the role. Most candidates are offered a salary within this disclosed range.
