What is the Role As a Program Therapist for The Wave, you will interact with our clients daily and participate in various aspects of their daily clinical activities while in the program. In your role, you will be responsible for the following: Welcoming new clients to the facility and completing their intake assessments and safety planning Manage a caseload of assigned clients including weekly individual and/or family therapy sessions Facilitation of group therapy sessions (psychoeducational, process, CBT, DBT, anger management, etc.) Treatment plan development and weekly treatment team meetings Discharge planning Clinically sound and timely documentation (clear and concise notes) What is Required Experience working with clients in a Healthcare facility is strongly preferred. Unrestricted license (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT) Experience working with Veterans is required 1 year of group therapy experience is strongly preferred Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Screening and Education Verification Ability to download and use company applications such as Microsoft Teams and BambooHR Employee on your cellphone Moderate Computer Literacy and ability to use Electronic Health Systems Additional Info – We Take Care of Our People The Wave is a diverse group of individuals who believe that every person matters.
