That means new ways of thinking and an innovative vision for the Controlling and Reporting, Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables teams. The Controller will be responsible for defining and executing accounting and financial reporting practices, and driving global best practices through global training and robust process documentation.\nYour Responsibilities:\nAccounting, Reporting and Planning\n\nBusiness partner with General Manager while building strong working relationships with all functional leaders.\n\nOversee and support accounting team (General Accounting, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Cost Accounting, and Local Controlling) with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivity\n\nManage and monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with standards and regulatory requirements\n\nLead the budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, reporting and quarterly pacing process – linking Durex into the ETS and Spirax Corporate processes.\n\nDevelop, maintain, and enhance reporting that aligns with business objectives and strategy. Assists in the month and quarter end preparation of financial statements.\n\nEnsures completeness and accuracy of the company’s corporate reporting activities of actuals.\n\nAnalyze historical and future financial results to provide guidance to organization regarding performance, accuracy, and completeness of consolidated results.\n\nOversees the month end close and the preparation of monthly journal entries\n\nAssists in the month and quarter end preparation of financial statements\n\nReviews key account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial statements\n\nImplement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all locations\n\nManages internal and external audit preparation and completion\nCost Accounting\nManage cost function and drive costing processes to ensure robust data\n\nComplete the required preparations for the annual cost roll, ensure they are robustly documented and communicate internally\n\nDrive consistent practices across operations and costing/quoting practices\n\nPartner with operations on evaluation of outsourcing / make decisions\n\nOversee and ensure strong co-ordination of the physical inventory process and process enhancements\nCompliance Management\nDrives the completion of internal compliance processes and recommend best practices.\n\nGuide financial decision making by developing and monitoring policies and procedures\n\nDevelop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets\nAd-hoc and Project Analysis\nEvolve and refine the business metrics and reporting providing insightful information to leadership and design dashboards to provide transparency on important KPIs.\n\nMaintains data consistency across various financial databases\n\nAssists with and reviews tax requests, filings, and research\n\nPerform value added ad-hoc analyses that help drive decision making\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field\n\nCPA Preferred but not required\n\n5+ years’ experience as a senior-level accounting or finance position\n\nStrong technical skills required across all aspects of accounting\n\nPrevious experience in a manufacturing environment preferred\n\nProficiency with Excel, knowledge of Great Plains, Microsoft Dynamics, and/or TM1 preferred\n\nAbility to demonstrate sound judgment, including maintaining highly confidential information\n\nBe self-motivated, driven, flexible and adaptable to complete assigned tasks; results driven\n\nExperience leading, coaching, and mentoring finance professionals\nPay rate: $114,000.00 - $176,500.00\n\nAt Durex Industries, we are not just an employer but a champion of equal opportunities and inclusivity.
