Level 3 PRS Case Manager will be expected to conduct ongoing assessments of the safety and appropriateness of the UC’s placement using child welfare principles and social work best practices.\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nProvide culturally and linguistically appropriate post placement services and comprehensive case management for children;\nLevel 3 PRS services are provided in person weekly for the first 45-60 days, then monthly for the following 6 months;\nConduct trauma-informed and intensive case management to children requiring specific challenges or special circumstances;\nComplete individualized needs assessments with children and sponsor, and develop case plans with particular attention to culture, language, and special circumstances;\nMaintain a high standard of record-keeping according to Applied Intellect and ORR policies and procedures;\nProvide information, education, referrals, outreach, advocacy, and support to ensure that each child receives the services they require;\nAssess the safety and appropriateness of the placement on an ongoing basis using child welfare principles and social work best practices through phone/video calls, interviews, and home visits;\nCoordinate and maintain communication with key stakeholders;\nParticipate in regular training and communication sessions with supervisor and headquarters staff;\nMaintain confidentiality of health care records and information in keeping with HIPAA and Protected Health Information (PHI) requirements;\nMust maintain confidentiality in all program areas including information regarding youth;\nParticipate in regular training and communication sessions utilizing Teams, Zoom or other platforms required for meeting with peers, supervisor, and headquarters staff;\nSubmit case notes, assessments and reports timely as required by ORR and Applied Intellect using ORR’s documentation software and Applied Intellect’s internal software system used for case monitoring, maintenance, and storage;\nDisplay professional conduct and ensure respectful interactions during any contact with children, sponsors, coworkers, supervisors, ORR representatives, and other vendors or community members;\nAdhere to all state and federal laws and regulations;\nFollow all company policies and procedures; and\nOther duties as assigned by supervisor.\n\nPOSITION REQUIREMENTS\nMaster of Social Work or an equivalent advanced degree in a behavioral science or social services field, with at least two years’ progressive experience in the fields listed above; an outstanding candidate who holds a bachelor’s degree in social work, a behavioral science, or social services field with a minimum of three years’ progressive experience in the fields listed above;\nExperience in child welfare, child placements, family preservation and social service provision is desired;\nMust be skilled at writing professional, thorough assessment reports;\nExtensive knowledge of immigrant community local resources is desired;\nExcellent organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, and ability to prioritize duties in a fast-paced environment;\nMust have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, insurance, and a clean driving record;\nPosition requires up to 50 percent long distance travel with limited notice;\nThe position is remote, and the candidate must have an appropriate workspace to complete documentation, phone calls, and video conferencing;\nProficient in Microsoft Office software, including using Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams for maintaining contact with supervisor, coworkers, and to complete daily tasks;\nAbility to type and be computer literate.
