Interested candidates should apply via the following link:https://recruit.ap.uci.edu/JPF09630*Please indicate your interests working with TNT in the cover letter.Overview:The TNT Fellowship is a multidisciplinary continuing education program designed to expand the behavioral health workforce by training primary care providers in evidence-based mental health care, including primary care psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, and addiction medicine.This Postdoctoral Scholar position offers mentored training in medical education program evaluation, with opportunities to analyze educational and real-world clinical data, contribute to scholarly publications, and support initiatives to improve mental health care access across diverse populations. You will work both independently and in collaboration with faculty and other research team members. The position is particularly suited for candidates with advanced statistical expertise and experience working with large-scale, provider- and patient-level health data. Start date is flexible (Summer 2026 or later).Program website: https://medschool.uci.edu/education/medical-education/cme/cme-tnt-fellowships Key Responsibilities:Conduct program evaluation for TNT initiativesAnalyze large healthcare datasets using advanced statistical methodsDevelop and support research projects to improve mental health care access across diverse populationsAssist with research administration, including IRB application, literature reviews, longitudinal tracking, data processing, and grant writingCollaborate with TNT faculty and research team to disseminate findings through manuscripts, presentations, workshops, and other professional forums Qualifications:PhD (or equivalent) in psychiatry, medicine, public health, social science, bioinformatics, biostatistics, data science, or related fieldExperience with research design, large datasets, and statistical methodsProficiency in R, Python, SAS, or similarInterest in medical education, program evaluation, or mental health services researchStrong written and verbal communication and teamwork skills
