Senior Network Engineer

Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Network Engineer (Level 3–4) with strong expertise in Cisco networking technologies, SD-WAN, LAN, and Wireless infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting, troubleshooting, optimizing, and enhancing enterprise network environments while ensuring high availability, performance, and security. Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and enterprise security practices is required.This role requires a highly skilled engineer capable of handling complex network issues, supporting large-scale environments, and collaborating with cross-functional infrastructure and security teams.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, configure, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructureManage and troubleshoot Cisco routing, switching, SD-WAN, LAN, and Wireless environmentsSupport enterprise WAN connectivity and branch network operationsConfigure and maintain wireless controllers, access points, and network security policiesTroubleshoot advanced network performance, latency, routing, and connectivity issuesSupport and administer Palo Alto firewalls, VPNs, and security configurationsMonitor network health, availability, and capacity planningPerform network upgrades, migrations, patching, and maintenance activitiesWork closely with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams for network optimizationCreate and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and operational proceduresParticipate in incident response, root cause analysis, and problem resolutionProvide technical leadership and support for escalated L3/L4 issuesRequired SkillsStrong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologiesExpertise in SD-WAN solutions (Cisco Viptela/Meraki preferred)Strong understanding of LAN/WAN networking conceptsExperience managing enterprise Wireless environmentsHands-on experience with Palo Alto firewallsKnowledge of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRPExperience with VPNs, VLANs, ACLs, QoS, and network security best practicesStrong troubleshooting and analytical skillsExperience supporting enterprise or multi-site environmentsExcellent communication and documentation skillsPreferred QualificationsCisco certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIEPalo Alto certifications are a plusExperience with network monitoring and management toolsExperience with cloud networking or hybrid environments is preferredAutomation/scripting knowledge is a plusExperience Required10+ years with architecture, lead, or project ownership experienceKey TraitsStrong problem-solving mindsetAbility to work independently in onsite enterprise environmentsComfortable handling critical production issues and escalationsTeam-oriented with strong stakeholder communication skills
