You will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver robust, high-quality software throughout the full development lifecycle.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and maintain Java applications for complex software systems.\nKnowledge on Python\nParticipate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment, in accordance with DO-330 and DO-178C\nWrite clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following software engineering best practices.\nContribute to software architecture, design reviews, and code reviews.\nDevelop and execute unit and integration tests.\nTroubleshoot, debug, and optimize software performance.\nCollaborate with systems, software, test, and quality engineering teams.\nContribute to technical documentation and software lifecycle artifacts.\n\nQualifications\n\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.\nStrong hands-on experience in Java software development.\nStrong hands-on experience in Python.\nExperience developing software for embedded or real-time systems is strongly preferred.\nGood understanding of object-oriented design principles and software engineering best practices.\nGood understanding of DO-330 and DO-178C software lifecycle processes\nExperience with version control systems (Git) and modern development tools.\nExperience with unit testing frameworks and software verification practices.\nFamiliarity with Linux-based development environments is an asset.\nCandidates with a Verification & Validation (V&V) background may also be considered, provided they possess strong embedded systems knowledge and demonstrable software development experience.\nU.S. citizenship is required.
