Document Control ClerkThe Document Control Clerk is responsible for reviewing, managing, and organizing company documents to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. This role supports various departments by ensuring that documents are properly filed, updated, and accessible when needed.
Job DutiesPerform job order reviews for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established procedures
Maintain, track, file and scan job orders and other controlled documents, including physical and electronic records
Maintain onsite/offsite document storage, retrieval, and destruction
Supports interdepartmental document control requests
Responsibilities include bending, squatting, pulling, pushing, and/or lifting 35 pounds
Ensure day-to-day activities and time management align with the department goals
Ensure all quality aspects of this position
Perform other duties as assigned
Skills and QualificationsHighly organized, detailed and able to perform duties with a high degree of accuracy
Good written and verbal communications skills and experience writing procedures
Strong interpersonal, communication, and some problem-solving skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Teams, and Adobe Acrobat
AccountabilitiesGuarantee quality of products through quality systems in highly regulated environment
Ensure all quality aspects of this position
Maintain a safe working environment
Handle confidential information with integrity and discretion
Education and Experience1-2 years experience in a FDA regulated (or certified Quality System) within a Document Control or mid-level Quality Assurance position. Documented training to GMPs or industry Quality System standard or equivalent work experience.
