Duties may vary dependent upon management.)\n\nEssential Position Functions:\nResponsible for the optimization of branch distribution processes and procedures.\nContinuously evaluate and improve operational processes to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and streamline operations with a focus on fulfillment, logistics, and customer service.\nTrain, direct, and evaluate employee performance to ensure consistent adherence to branch and organizational productivity and safety goals.\nDrive continuous improvement of branch service levels through the implementation of standard operating procedures and the daily review of applicable reports utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs) including on-time delivery, order fill rate, warehouse efficiency and driver route performance.\nOversee the management of fleet/equipment repairs, and preventative and routine maintenance to ensure compliance with transportation related regulations (OSHA, DOT) and adherence to company standards and policies.\nChampion a customer-focused approach by collaborating with departments throughout the organization and leading investigations to resolve and address root cause of service-related inquiries.\nAnalyze and review monthly P&L to identify trends and opportunities to implement process improvement and cost reduction strategies that will lead to the optimization of branch financial performance.\nPromote safe work behaviors, activities, and conditions by conducting safety audits, leading branch safety meetings, and championing company safety initiatives.\nActively promote safe driving behaviors and manage performance through direct observation, driver safety programs, and reviews of telematic data (if available).\nOther duties as required.\n\nThis job description is intended to describe the general nature, complexity and level of work to be performed by employees assigned to this position and is not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties and/or skills required. Strong analytical skills\nMust have intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) skills.\nMust be able to efficiently use a Windows-based computer.\nAbility to prioritize and complete assignments accurately and in a timely manner.\nAble to effectively handle multiple priorities with a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong interpersonal, organizational, oral, and written communications skills.\nMust be able to read and communicate in English, for safe and effective performance of the job and business operations.\nMust be able to work alone, and with a team.\nMust be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.\nWork Environment:\nThe physical and mental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by employees to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
