Responsibilities Menu knowledge, allergen comprehension and anticipation of all service needs Moving between customer service and hospitality and applying both between service Greet and seat customers, in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcome. Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system Deliver food and beverages promptly to guests while maintaining attention to detail. Assist guests with menu selections and provide recommendations when needed. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash register operations and cash handling. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service areas. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation accuracy and delivery. Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and effectively to enhance their dining experience. Ensure compliance with food handling safety standards at all times. Skills Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently. Proficiency in cash handling and familiarity with cash registers or POS systems. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is preferred. Sales skills to promote menu items effectively and enhance guest experiences. Strong communication skills to interact positively with both guests and team members.
