Duties include developing proposal schedules, detailed project schedules, project estimates, budgets, schedules, change management, forecasts, progress tracking, cashflow and manpower requirements.\n\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS\n\nDevelop well defined and properly sequenced proposal schedules working with the proposal manager, estimators and construction group.\n\nDevelop and maintain the project schedule for all EPC/EPCM projects. This will require analyzing all contract and proposal data, establishing well defined work activities, and creating a comprehensive, properly linked CPM schedule.\n\nPerform cost management activities in support of in-house projects to provide proactive and accurate information to project teams.\n\nPrepare and maintain engineering, fabrication and construction earned value reports.\n\nPrepare monthly status and cost reports including evaluations and presentations of current status; compare forecasts to the approved budgets and provide explanations for any variances.\n\nPrepare cash flow and cost commitment forecasts.\n\nIdentify scope changes and prepare change notices/requests.\n\nPrepare and maintain scope change logs and trend logs.\n\nEnsure all project control procedures are in place and being followed.\n\nWork closely with and under the direction of the project manager to provide scheduling and cost information which will assist in management decisions. Ensure schedule execution for all facets of the EPC project is occurring. This includes engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction.\n\nDIRECTION RECEIVED\n\nSupervision is mainly administrative with technical assignments given by Project Controls Manager. When assigned to a project, direction will come mainly from the Project Manager, in accordance with Project Controls procedures.\n\nDIRECTION OF OTHERS\n\nNone\n\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\n\nBachelor's degree or Equivalent combination of experience and training.\n\n3 to 5 years' experience in Project Controls environment, preferably in Industrial EPC field.\n\nProficiency in Primavera P6\n\nProficiency in full suite of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.\n\nFamiliarity with Procore a plus.\n\nFamiliarity with Acumatica ERP a plus.\n\nSKILLS REQUIRED\n\nHave a full understanding of the flow and logistics needed for the execution of an EPC project.\n\nPossess excellent leadership skills and can effectively coordinate the engineering, procurement, and construction activities. Monitor P3 schedules and be proactive in identifying problem areas.\n\nPossess the ability to organize large amounts of information into a coherent, meaningful P6 format.\n\nAttention to detail\n\nGood interpersonal skills: interface with project team required\n\nGood writing skills\n\nSite (field) construction experience a plus but not required\n\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\n\nMust be physically fit and able to work safely at a construction site.\n\nWORKING CONDITIONS\n\nWork will be mainly conducted in-office; however, employee may be assigned to work at off-site locations from time to time.
